Ibanez PCBE12MH Performance Acoustic Bass, Open Pore Natural Overview

New for 2014, the Ibanez PCBE12MH-OPN Acoustic Bass Guitar is exceptional value for what's on offer. The bass utilises a large, grand concert, body shape to give plenty of oomph to your sound and offer a voice that can lend its hand to most playing styles. Having this body shape also ensures the Ibanez PCBE12MH-OPN has a balanced acoustic sound and controlled resonance when you plug it into an amp.

The top, back & sides of the Ibanez PCBE12MH-OPN Acoustic Bass are constructed from mahogany. Along with its body shape the material used to construct the bass makes it a well-rounded instrument. Mahogany is known for it's thick, meaty tone, which has a wide dynamic range, though it really excels in the mid range, enabling you to be heard whether you're playing sensitive or loud, percussive styles. Mahogany is also a wood type that continues to reward you; with improved characteristics the more you play it.

Connected to the body of the Ibanez PCBE12MH OPN, and making up the bass's 32-inch (810mm) scale length, is a mahogany neck, topped by rosewood fingerboard and leading to a rosewood bridge.

To get you hooked up to an amplifier or PA system, the Ibanez PCBE12MH-OPN Acoustic Bass Guitar comes equipped with a discreet under saddle pickup and an Ibanez AEQ202T preamp. For connectivity you have the choice of balanced XLR & 1/4" outputs, while the preamp is equipped with onboard controls and a built-in tuner.

I can’t get DHL to deliver it to me, so right now it’s the worst guitar I own (In that it doesn’t exist).
