Line 6 HX Stomp Helix Multi FX Processor Pedal Overview
The Helix 3.60 firmware update and Helix Native plugin software update bring new additions to the Helix and HX hardware devices. Three new amplifiers, including the Grammatico GSG, seven new guitar speaker cabinets, two new bass cabs, and two new effects are included in the update. These updates add to the already extensive range of sound options available to guitarists and bassists using Helix and HX hardware devices.
Helix Modelling, Portable Footprint
The Line 6 HX Stomp comes in a striking black finish and uses the same HX modelling as Helix. Despite its tiny size, it has many features which are identical to the original Helix amp. With over 300 effects and models, and up to 6 amp, cab, and effect blocks (including a looper and IR loading) to use simultaneously, HX Stomp is a compact and powerful multi-effects processor that easily integrates into a variety of environments and applications.
Easy To Use
HX Stomp is easy to program and operate. It can be externally controlled via MIDI and there’s an optional expression pedal input and footswitch control for flexibility. A 320 x 240-pixel colour LCD and colour-coded rings on the three capacitive-sensing footswitches make editing and recalling presets effortless. The HX Stomp gives you 126 presets, organised by instrument and application, as well as lots of great tones ready to use.
It allows 4-cable amp integration, which provides a pre-routed template from which you can create custom patches.
MIDI Enabled
The HX Stomp has tremendous depth and ultra-low noise with its 123dB of dynamic range and has enough inputs and outputs for you to take control, for example, Stereo TS ins and balanced TRS Outs, MIDI In/Out, FX loops, USB connection, and TRS expression pedal/footswitch jack so you can connect up to two external expression pedals.
