Ibanez Limited Edition RGIT27FE-SBF 7 String (Sapphire Blue Flat) Overview
Wow- the Iron Label goes blue, gets a thru-neck and Ebony fingerboard! Awesome axe- keeping the 'stripped down but dressed up' theme these guitars excel at metal but really can be used for a much broader spectrum of music than that. Fantastic specification- the 7-piece Nitro Wizard Maple/Walnut through neck feels great, particularly given the genuine Ebony fingerboard with 16" radius and Jumbo frets. The body wings are made of Ash and the Sapphire Blue Flat finish is even better in the flesh.No economy has been made on the hardware either- the active EMG Alnico 707 humbuckers are direct mounted to the body. These are tied to a conventional 3-way switch and also a 'Kill Switch'. The machineheads are Gotoh® Magnum Lock which offer incredible tuning stability while the bridge is a Gibraltar Standard II-7 bridge.
